It was just a solid selection for an overnight stay in Charlotte with incredible value for money. My housekeeper was really attentive, always checking if we needed anything. Make sure to ask about the available amenities when you check in.

The location is super convenient, just a hop away from the airport, making it a good pitstop if you’re in a hurry. The concourse boasts an airy atrium that gives it a decent vibe, cutting the stuffy hotel feel some others hold onto.

However, the property feels quite aged, with a need for some serious updates. I ran into issues like peeling paint in the room and a slow tub drain, not exactly what I signed up for. The in-house dining experience left much to be desired. the food was subpar, with less variety than I’d hope for, particularly in the breakfast spread. Also, if you’re planning to catch something interesting nearby, don't expect much in terms of coordinated info or assistance at check-in—instead, you're just handed the key and wished luck. Lastly, the elevator service was maddeningly slow, leaving you to stand around longer than desirable.

Family-friendly stop with some hiccups

The free transportation to and from the airport was very nice and the driver was super nice. I am in a wheelchair and he carried all of our luggage all the way into the room while my husband wheeled me in the wheelchair.
